Vancouver’s #1 Masters Swim Program for Swimmers and Triathletes
Our workouts and skill based training provide recreational and competitive swimmers and triathletes a fun focused training environment. We swim and teach all strokes and include lots freestyle for our triathletes. We provide 2 coaches per session on deck. Throughout the swim sessions our coaches will give you detailed technical feedback, video tape you in and from above the water and create well thought out workout progressions for any ability level.
Our workouts are year round on Monday, Wednesday = 8pm-9pm.
Our club is run under the Master Swim Association of BC (MSABC) and the Triathlon BC Association (Tri BC). A current membership with one of the two is required to participate in our swims. MSABC memberships are valid from September 1st – August 31st and allows you to participate in Masters Swim meets. Tri BC memberships are valid from January 1st – December 31st and allow you to participate in Triathlon BC events. Don`t worry, we will assist you pick the right membership if you don’t have one yet.
Fee Structure: Winter/Spring 2015 (January 4th – April 27th) $275 plus gst – 17 weeks = 32 swims!

Our Masters and Triathlon swim program is designed to provide workout and skill based training for recreational and competitive swimmers and triathletes. Members of our club have participated in various masters swim meets, and triathlons around the world including World Championships.
Where: All of our workouts are based out of the UBC Aquatic Centre.

Session 1 Winter: January until April (17 weeks ~ 32 swims)
Session 4 Fall: September until December (15 weeks ~ 26 swims)
Coach: Bjoern Ossenbrink
Join us for workouts with coaching specialist Bjoern Ossenbrink. Bjoern is one of the most successful triathlon and masters swim coaches not only in Vancouver, but also in North America and Europe. He oversees the program and structures the workouts for the year.
Coach: Laura Thompson
Laura was a member of the UBC Thunderbirds Swim Team, the defending national champions, and specializes in Breaststroke/Individual Medley technique. She is a graduate of the UBC Political Science and Economics student. Laura also acts as the President of the Thunderbird Athletes Council and is a certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and works as a Lifeguard/Instructor at the UBC Aquatic Centre. She has coached for numerous Vancouver based swim clubs and is returning for her second year coaching with the club.

Stephanie has coached cycling and swimming for nearly 12 years. She has been a swimming head coach for USA swimming clubs and Swim BC clubs. She obtained her coaching degree while competing in the USA Collegiate Cycling Program.
